UV Water Disinfection Systems

 

Ultraviolet (UV) Water Disinfection systems are used to deactivate water borne pathogens and biofilms in order to achieve higher quality water for cleaning, process, product contact, and product packaging applications in the Cheese Market.

UV water systems are commonly used as a pathogen firewall for incoming well and municipal water sources. While UV provides continuous water disinfection it does not provide residual water disinfection. Validated UV Systems can be used to create Pasteurized Equivalent Water (PEW) and eliminate the need for thermal pasteurization of product contact water. PEW UV Systems can enable greater water conservation by enabling full reuse of Reverse Osmosis Polished Cow water.

Systems are available for numerous flow ranges with a variety of options.
