Dima Moulding/Extruding Machine SP21/CLIP
For the automatic and continuously extrusion of “pasta filata” cheeses or analogue cheeses, destined to the production of portions, hermetically closed by metal clips or thermosealing of the packing foil. This procedure allows the hot packaging of the product, thus avoiding any following contamination.
Products include: cheese blocks up to 5 kg with maximum diameter of 120 mm, of cylindrical or parallelepiped shape. Production capacity adjustable up to 1.200 kg/h.
The cheese mass coming from the cooking-stretching machine falls into the hopper of the extruding machine and feeds two counter-rotating augers located inside the machine body.
The rotating movement of the two augers pushes the cheese mass towards the conical extruding section at which end is assembled the extrusion pipe on that has previously been put the casing or packing foil destined to contain the product. When the product goes out of the extrusion pipe it directly enters into the casing or packing foil and the pressure exerted by the product causes the filling of the casing or packing foil and simultaneously the product advancing up to the clipping or thermosealing machine.
The moulding machine mod. SP21/CLIP is made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, the parts in contact with the product are treated with Teflon certified for the food industry.
